The ASUS Vivobook 17 (X1704ZA) does not come with a Windows 11 CD. It typically comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. If you need a Windows 11 installation disc, you can create one yourself using the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft, or purchase a physical copy from authorized retailers.

Its been quit some time that most computers don't come with CD's anymore. If you want a full copy for re-install purposes, there is an option that MS allows you to download and save a copy of your own.

P.S.: Most manufacturers include a hidden partition on the C-drive with a copy of the original installation. You can use this in place of an optical disc copy. They also frequently store a copy online for even more serious problems.

Since this computer doesn't have a cd/dvd drive, the cd would be useless unless you have an external drive. So I don't think this would come with a Windows 11 cd.

However, I think all manufacturers also (1) maintain a copy of the original installation, including drivers and any optional programs, and (2) include a partition on the drive with a copy of the original installation, so you can restore your drive to the original state in an emergency (as long as there isn't a total system failure).

No...in matter of fact, if you do need to upgrade to windows 11, you need to go to microsoft.com
