Most of the new laptops being produced right now are having their memory soldered. This machine's ram is soldered, so not upgradable. Only the storage can be upgraded and it has only 1 slot for a nvme.

This type looks more like an IC than your typical RAM module and is VERY soldered to the motherboard. You are essentially trading the flexibility of SODIMM sticks for lighter weight, less space used, and significantly better power use, which is why the battery life is so high.
