“I saw that someone said this was a 60hz display, is this true? On Asus website they say the ux3402 is 90hz. Also, are the fans on the sides and not pushing hot air up into the screen?”

In settings, you can choose between a 60hz and a 90hz display. Out of the box, it is 60hz. Keep in mind that a higher refresh rate will decrease battery life. Asus changed the vents to the left side. Unlike last years model, they are not pushing hot air onto the screen but out to the left.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looks like the fans draw air from the bottom and vent to the left side. I don't see any vents at the bottom of the screen. There seems to be a bug in fan control. Possibly an issue with my computer only. The fans run, just a whisper, while in sleep mode. They stop when the computer wakes. I'm still observing. Maybe others can comment on their systems behavior. I suspect a bios bug.
