“I was told by 3 different support people at ASUS about upgrading the M.2 256GB drive. Two told me 512GB max one said it was not upgradeable. I wish they had knowledgeable people”

Absolutely, the M.2 SSD is upgradeable up to 2TB maximum size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went with 2tb (max size ) firecuda 530 almost hits the advertised speeds. This m.2 was thicker than the original ssd so the metal plate used to hold in place and keep cool was a little off. works fine and transferred everything over just fine.
