- Answer There should be a handset tab where the handset rest pull the tab out and rotate it around. It it's missing contact AT&T customer service in your user's manual.

QuestionI thought I set the answering system to pick up after 4 rings and for the ringer volume to be set at 4. Now I do not hear the phone ring at all, and it picks up after the first ring with my greeting. How can I change this?

- Answer I set mine to answer after 3 rings. It works. You have to set the volume also. My was set pretty high. So I had to lower it. I just bought it yesterday, so I'm still learning. Check your manual for volume adjustment and setting ring pick up.

- Answer With phone in "Idle Mode", press & release menu/select. Scroll thru options: press & release "CID" (Down) or "DIR" (Up) until "Smart call blk" is highlighted. Press & release "menu/select" until "SCB On/Off" is highlighted. Press & release "menu/select". "SCB ON/OFF" will appear. Scroll thru options: press & release "CID" (Down) or "DIR" (Up) until "On" or "Off" is highlighted. Choose option, Press & release "menu/select". Press & release "Cancel" until phone returns to idle mode.

QuestionCan you mount the main unit to the wall phone jack?

- Answer Yes, you can mount the base unit to the wall using the standard RJ11W modular wall phone jack, which can be found in many homes. The base unit has "keyed" mounting holes which slide over the posts to secure it to wall jack mounting plate . The excess line cord can be stored behind the base to keep it out of view.
