Both. The angle of the display is adjustable. The phone is designed to be either placed on a desk/table, or wall-mounted. It even comes with a wall-mount bracket. The phone is designed to have the keypad and display angled if you place it on a desk or table, and both are straight if the phone is mounted on a wall.
