• I'm not sure this is what you are asking but there is a message alert tone that can be set so the phone base beeps every 10 seconds when there is at least one new message on your voicemail. The default on the phone for the alert is set to "off" but you can change the setting to "on" if you want the audible alert. (Instructions on how to do this is in the manual.) There is no audible alert on the handset. Hope this helps.

• No, it does not have an audible voicemail alert. It has voice mail-waiting indicator that lets you know when you have new messages.
