“Why does the info on this product say it has an audible new message alert & people who have bought it say it doesn't. I really need to hear that I have a new message D/t visual problems. Thanks for any clarification on this subject”

It flashes when you have a new message. After you listen to the message it no longer flashes. If another call comes in after you listen to your messages it will flash. No sound only a flashing orange light
