“how do you set the ring number to 6 rings before the answering machine comes on? I would like the answering machine to come on after 6 rings 3 rings will not allow time enough to get to the phone. I want to increase the ring to 6 rings or more.”

The manual does NOT tell you how to change the number of rings. Why does ATT set this a 3 rings. At 88 years old, I cannot cross the room in 3 rings.
