People are having a hard time because of Strick Nat that can not at this point be changed. This is something you should research the Nat type is very important on Xbox system.

The device is technically capable of true Catagory 6 LTE Advanced service (gigabit cell service). However just because you use this modem the cellular service your connecting to (AT&T) the towers, your signal strength, the tower congestion, and the back haul will all determine what your overall throughput will be. With pretty horrible AT&T service where I live (poor signal strength) I can typically get 8 to 21 megabit per second download. My understanding is you need a minimum 10 meg service for basic gaming in the Xbox one S / X. So basically if you’ve got good cell service then yeah you most likely use this as your primary internet uplink for gaming. However be aware that cellular service can fluctuate quite a bit and be very latent. While you might have the bandwidth it just might not (probably won’t be) stable and consistent.
