- Answer Yes, the third button in from the right side of the turntable will auto start. The first button on the right side will manually lift the tonearm.

- Answer There is no power amplifier inside the turntable, just a phono preamplifier, you will need to connect the turntable to a stereo amplifier or receiver that has passive type speakers attached to it or forgo the amplifier or receiver and connect the turntable to a set of active (aka powered) type speakers. Active speakers have the power amplifier built into them.

You may connect the turntable to a single pair of powered (aka active or amplified) speakers OR connect it to a stereo receiver or integrated amplifier that has provisions for connecting 1 to 2 pair of non-powered (aka passive) speakers to it.
