A:AnswerIf it is a 4th Gen Echo or an Echo Studio, yes as these model speakers have a 3.5mm Line In jack on them. Other model Echo's have a 3.5mm Line OUT jack on them which is not the same thing, it has to be a Line IN jack. You will need an adapter or a different cable to connect the turntable to either one of these speakers. The output jack on the turntable is the single 3.5mm stereo type. A stereo 3.5mm male to dual RCA male type cable is provided with the turntable. You can either add a dual RCA female to single 3.5mm male stereo adapter to the provided cable, or you can use a different cable entirely. A 3.5mm stereo male to 3.5mm stereo male cable could be used in place of the provided cable.
A:AnswerIt could be a factory defect, but be aware that this turntable doesn't "power on" like most modern devices do. Once it's plugged into the power simply hit the "start" button and it should start spinning the record and automatically move the needle.
To diagnose your issue further, I would try plugging it in different outlets to make sure it's not a popped breaker or faulty outlet. If that doesn't work then maybe the power cable is defective so you could try a replacement or another cable if you have one.
A:AnswerPlug it in to the Yamaha like you would any other turntable. You mat have to change the switch in the back of the turntable so it doesn't over modulate. (Distort). Good luck.
A:AnswerSo Audio Technica... This one has the auto stop and return, but the higher cost AT-LP120XBT-USB I bought at Best Buy 2 years ago at $299 doesn't? Glad y'all finally invented this idea. Oh wait, my old Panatrope from the 40's stopped when done. Someone's engineers head was somewhere dark.

A:AnswerI put one into a 1960s vintage stereo cabinet. I also replaced the old amplifier which no longer worked. To use the old amplifier, I would have needed to modify wiring to fit the old wiring connections. Because I replaced the amplifier also, I used a 1/8 to RCA stereo cable that connected the turntable to the new amplifier.
A:AnswerI have my Audio Technica turntable connected to a pair of speakers via a receiver to listen to my LPs. I do have a VIZIO sound bar complete with separate woofer but have not been thinking about having it connected to my turntable for the obvious reason that the turntable produce analog signals whereas sound bars are essentially compatible with digital source signals. If a sound bar has an inlet for analog signals, then it might work with the Audio Technica turntable .
A:AnswerYou can, but you will need a different type cable, a male-to-male 3.5 mm stereo (TRS) type, to make the connection. Make certain that the preamp selector switch on the back of the turntable is set to the LINE position for use with the AUX jack.
A:AnswerRemove then reinstall the stylus (needle) assembly as if you were replacing it with a new one, it is probably loose on the cartridge. Refer to page 10 of the User Manual (below) for assistance with this.
