It depends. Which tonearm are you using, the shorter or longer one, and what is the effective mass of the tonearm including the headshell? How much does the headshell weigh? The compliance of the AT-VM95EN Cartridge is 12cu @ 10 Hz and the mass of the cartridge is 6.5 grams including the mounting screws. The AT-HS6 Headshell included with the AT-VM95EN/H Headshell/Cartridge combo kit weighs 9 grams. The cartridge is suitable for use with tonearms whose effective mass is anywhere from 12 to 28 grams.
