“I am interested to know from any one that has owned a Technics 1200 MK2 and now has this one...How does this turntable compare to a Technics 1200 MK2 other than the obvious of not having an USB input and not being able to play at the 78 RPM?”

it feels cheaper, its a nice table but does not feel anywhere near as solid as the 1200. I like it but would never use it to replace a 1200. I noticed the motor does not get up to speed as fast as the 1200's I have.
