Good question, but not one that anyone outside the company can answer without cutting into one. AT $99 a pop, it's not likely anyone would do this unless the cable goes bad. The cables have a sheath hiding the true diameter and construct. In the AudioQuest family of cables, this one's in the middle of the lineup at about $100 for a 10-ft cable. The Boxer cable will cost about $200 and the Husky about $500 for the same length. How much is the extra quality sound worth? As much as you want to pay.
