Yes, this cable will connect to the standard 3.5mm headphone jack on a fire tablet, as long as your receiver has the same 3.5mm size input it will work. If your receiver does not have the 3.5mm connection you would need a cable with the 3.5mm on one end (for the tablet) and a stereo RCA connection (for the receiver) on the other.
