It depends. This will plug into a SiriusXM receiver which in turn will plug into a car tuner that has SiriusXM capabilities. If you have a car tuner that has a built in SiriusXM receiver, it should plug in. Just make sure that your tuner or radio does have the built in receiver. Most aftermarket tuners that people buy do not have a built in SiriusXM receiver. SiriusXM capable just means that the aftermarket tuner will display and tune SiriusXM stations picked up on the SiriusXM receiver on the aftermarket tuner. Hope this helps.
