• The answer to both of your questions can be given in in two parts: 1. Can you play games while traveling on a plane with airplane mode ? If said game(s) were strictly offline, then I don't see why not. However, if said game(s) required an online connection, then the answer is no. Airplane mode shuts down any wifi or data connection. 2. Can you play games without wifi? Yes, with the iPhone connected to the controller and said game(s) were strictly offline. You can also connect the controller directly to any computer (without an iPhone mounted on the controller) via a USB connection. I strongly encourage you to look up YouTube videos regarding this specialized controller and see for yourself what others say about it!
