I actually rescued one from a trash heap (apparently it was thrown away because it had a bad thermistor and heater block connector), and I was able to download Bambu Lab's free Bambu Studio software to control the printer. You do have to create a free account on Bambu Lab's website, but that gets you access to all of hundreds of free stl files that users have contributed (many are useful to enhance the printer and its performance).
