A:Answer Best Buy was losing too much money on these installations mostly through people who were abusing the service, having multiple TVs installed at commercial sites like bars and restaurants, etc. But instead of modifying the program the simply removed this benefit/service from their Total program which is unfortunate. They should have been more creative here and done something like limit the number of TV installations per customer per year to two or something. Or, instead of making it free why not discount the installation price by 50% for Total members? Because of these and other changes I'm finding the Total membership less and less valuable each year and likely to cancel at my next renewal.
