QuestionI have this device and plug the dongle for a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse in to it. It seems to go in and out of being connected, yet everything works fine if the dongle is plugged directly in to the laptop. Is there a compatibility issue?

QuestionIf I'm running internet through the ethernet adapter can I be using the other USB ports at the same time? Maybe for a mouse, downloading pics from an external hard drive through the adapter then uploading them to shutterfly w/o any performance issues?

QuestionThe HDMI port is not recognized when attached to a separate monitor (says no HDMI signal to monitor) Is this because the unit is not powered? I should be able to run HDMI out to a monitor and view the same screen as device or as an extended desktop?

- Answer Check your screen output resolution. You don’t need the hdmi to be powered to send signal. You’re probably sending 4K to a 1080p monitor and it doesn’t like it. Update your monitor if anything.
