there is no preheat, but you can always turn on the unit with nothing inside to preheat it. Example you can set the unit at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then put in what you want to cook and set it at its instructed temp and time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For me I don't think time need to be added. I've had mine for about three weeks now and I use it like I used my old air fryer, and it cook better than that one. It also has a booklet with temperatures and time for certain foods.
