It may be a defective device. I had a similar issue and you can call the manufacturer to see if they can send you a new one. Otherwise, if it's within purchase warranty at Best Buy they were very helpful with an exchange for a bew one. Our new one has been working great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have not seen this on mine, it has been a year with this coffee maker. yes, maybe cleaning with vinegar would help, i use the distilled vinegar from costco about 3 tablespoons to clean the system.
