• A:Answer While it does not bring a dedicated filter basket for E.S.E. espresso pods, you CAN use them very well in the single shot basket. I use them when I'm in a hurry, but I prefer to use freshly ground beans.

• A:Answer I’ve made espresso a bunch of times with this unit and it’s very strong. It’s advertising says 12 bars of pressure (or something thereabouts) I typically purchase (2) kinds of coffee to use in the machine. a regular coffee and an expresso for the espresso side of the unit. This was the best investment I’ve ever made, more than pays for itself with the amount of coffee with expresso shots I was purchasing each morning from Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.

• A:Answer It will not automatically make the latte, it's up to you to froth the milk properly and pull the espresso shot. Once you learn how to do those two things, YOU will make good lattes - even GREAT lattes. You should use espresso ground (very fine) coffee for the espresso side, and drip brew grinds (medium to coarse) on the drip brew side. However, the grind on the espresso side doesn't have to be perfect because the portafilter has a regulator installed to help pressurize accordingly (it helps entry level users).

• A:Answer Press and hold PROGRAM for 3 seconds. The LCD will show PM or AM and the current strength will flash (starts at ONE). Press PROGRAM again to select TWO or THREE strength, or you can even select 3-4CUP MODE after that. Once you've gotten to your selected strength, it'll flash for 5 seconds and then retuns to standby. (Step 10 on page 9 in the user manual)

They essentially told me to look at the specs and try to find replacement parts from another brand. I simply need the filters and the metal drain cover. It’s so frustrating.
