• No, you need an HDMI-to-RCA converter box. These cables are RCA-only on both ends.

• What you’re looking for is an AV to HDMI converter. If you’re just looking to connect a VCR or DVD player any would work, but if you’re trying to connect a video game console I highly recommend looking into the RetroTINK 2x Mini for composite or s-video.
