RCA cables, like the Best Buy essentials™ 6' Stereo Audio RCA Cable, are designed to carry low-level audio signals (also known as line-level signals) from your source device (like a receiver or pre-amplifier) to your amplifier. They are not designed to carry high-power output from an amplifier to speakers. Speaker wire is specifically designed to handle the higher wattage and current that an amplifier sends to speakers. Therefore, while the RCA cable will transmit the audio signal to your amplifier, it will not handle the 50 watts RMS power that the amplifier then sends to the speakers. You will need separate speaker wire for that connection.
