Yes, 2032 size lithium coin batteries feature a bitterant ring coating on the negative side of the battery. If a child puts one of these batteries in their mouth, the coating will immediately react with saliva to release a bitter taste which will discourage swallowing. Rudson S.| Best Buy Support.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not know if they have a coating to make it taste bad. Tho they are not edible and can be dangerous to toddlers if ingested. I would recommend not leaving the batteries or any other dangerous item where a child can reach
