QuestionDo these batteries have a "bitterant" coating? It’s a coating designed to make them taste foul so that if a kid puts it in his mouth, he will spit it out. But batteries with that coating won’t work in Apple AirTags, which is what I need to power.

- Answer Yes, 2032 size lithium coin batteries feature a bitterant ring coating on the negative side of the battery. If a child puts one of these batteries in their mouth, the coating will immediately react with saliva to release a bitter taste which will discourage swallowing. Rudson S.| Best Buy Support.
