“I have flat-mounted using the mounting bracket. I did not unwrap the cords that you pull to release the safety lock and I need to get to the back of the TV to plug in the HDMI cable, power cable, etc. Is there an alternative way to unlock the bracket?”

I only used the cords. I didn't see any other way
