Does it have to be meet to a window? I have a TV cabinet null

Maybe it will work on the strong channels. BUT the better position of the antenna you will pick up more channels.

I stuck mine on the back of the tv - it’s on a tv stand. I had to scan 3 times to get all the channels. With that said - the closer to a window the better is my understanding. Give it a try if you can return if it doesn’t work for you.
