The advertised range is 35 miles, though it seems to get stations up to 60 miles in my area. So it depends on how far you are from the TV station transmitters. This may not be best for rural residents who are far from those transmitters, or have high mountains between them and the transmitters.

Get to somewhere where you have internet access and go to https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps (or something similar) and see if you're within your antenna's distance limits. Also note which direction you need to face your antenna.
