“We have relatives that purchased a DVD player and totaltech, they said everything in their home is covered even if not purchased at Best Buy. In fact they have had their printer and refrigerator not purchased at Best Buy both repaired. Is this correct”

My understanding is that all would be covered. I did not buy my cell phone at Best Buy yet the Geeks solved a problem I had with it.
