If you need to interact with your cable or satellite provider, or can do this work yourself, I would not purchase total tech support. However, if you just need help with connecting cables, mounting tv sets activating wifi, and connecting DVD players, I would purchase the membership. It's also useful for buying other items from Best Buy because they automatically include free shipping and an extended warranty.
