I would recommend going into a bestbuy store. I thunk its the same with purchasing an apple product from the Apple store as oppose to the Bestbuy. That was one of my deciding factors on why i purchased my Apple watch at BestBuy. I am not a 100 percent certain but i dont thinm you would be covered.
