A:AnswerHello. Thanks for your question. Your Totaltech membership will cover these services as long as your membership is active. When you purchase the appliance be sure that the installation and haul away service is added to the order during purchase. The system will automatically bundle these services at check out. You will need to purchase all parts needed for the installation service. You may view additional membership benefits here, www.BestBuy.com/totaltech .
A:AnswerTotalTech is a great service to have with new products purchased at Best Buy however, I have doubts about it covering older products purchased elsewhere. To verify if it will cover your product you should call and ask them directly before purchasing.
A:AnswerAfter cleaning my laptop up, I was encouraged by the geek squad team member to purchase a new laptop since mine was so old. He said he would come back and transfer the files for me. It would be a free service with the total tech support plan.
A:AnswerHi,
Yes, Best Buy Totaltech™ Yearly Membership includes installation of products purchased at Best Buy. This includes free delivery and installation of TVs, appliances, and other select products. To schedule a free installation, you can call Best Buy Totaltech support at 1-888-BESTBUY (1-888-237-8289) or visit your local Best Buy store.
Here are some of the products that are eligible for free installation with Best Buy Totaltech™ Yearly Membership:

Home theater systems
Smart home devices

You can find a complete list of eligible products on the Best Buy website.
Please note that Best Buy Totaltech™ Yearly Membership is required to receive free installation. If you do not have a membership, you will be charged for installation services.

A:AnswerLet your computer or whatever it is, that is covered get outdated! My computer was six years old, they claimed that my credit card would not go through for renewal and dropped me from total tech-support. When I called to inquire why my total tech-support was no longer available. They told me they sent multiple emails telling me it was time to renew. I went through my emails, the trash, and the junk files and found absolutely nothing regarding my renewal. This is how they weed out the customers that will be requiring their services. They are happy to have you when your appliances or computer is new, but once there is a chance you will need service they want nothing to do with you.
A:AnswerHi Nicholas, thanks for your question. The Totaltech membership does include AppleCare+ for qualifying Apple devices, and is added automatically at the time of purchase. Because this is added at the time of purchase you will only be able to get this protection on purchases made with us. However, tech support is available for all of your devices regardless of where they were purchased.
A:AnswerIf you have it and purchased the item in the store they can come to your house to work on it if not you can schedule a geek squad member to come out and work on it but will have to pay for the service
A:AnswerHi,
This does not mean that your Best Buy Totaltech Yearly Subscription and AppleCare+ will not apply to an unlocked iPhone.
As long as you purchase your unlocked iPhone from a reputable retailer, such as Apple, Amazon, or directly from your carrier, your Best Buy Totaltech Yearly Subscription and AppleCare+ will still apply. You just need to buy the device while you have an active membership and register it with BB.
I hope this info helps!
