A:AnswerWell, I know it used to. I purchased total tech a few years ago when I was upgrading my cars with dash cams and a new stereo system. The total tech included installation cost which was a great money saver, and at the time it came with antivirus software.
Looking at the description of total tech now it does not appear to mention anything about antivirus software. I went through the website and in their long description I don’t see anything mentioned about antivirus and I don’t see a link when I login anymore, so I do not believe they offered any more
A:AnswerI believe there isn't a limit on how many they will mount, it says that mounting is available with all TV purchases, and yes you have to purchase the mount.
A:AnswerTotal Tech is a yearly subscription that must be renewed each year (through Best Buy). You would be covered by both Samsung and Best Buy for the first year. You would have to renew the Total Tech membership, without any lapse - to get the 2nd year of coverage. Total Tech should provide additional technical support (from Best Buy) for most products, regardless where the item was purchased.
A:AnswerHi,
According to the Best Buy website, Totaltech members are eligible for one free in-home consultation per year. This consultation can be used for a variety of purposes, including assessing your current computer/cable set up and advising you on any changes that you should make before remodeling your family room.
To schedule an in-home consultation, you can contact Geek Squad at 1-800-433-5778 or online.
Here are some of the things that a Geek Squad agent can assess during the consultation:
The placement of your computer and cable equipment
The type and quality of your cables
The strength of your Wi-Fi signal
The security of your network
Any potential conflicts between your devices
The agent can then make recommendations on how to improve your set up, such as:
Moving your equipment to a more central location
Using higher quality cables
Installing a Wi-Fi extender or mesh network system
Upgrading your router or modem
Installing security software
If you are planning to remodel your family room, the agent can also advise you on how to best integrate your computer and cable equipment into the new space. For example, they can help you choose the right location for your TV and cable box, and recommend ways to hide cables and other equipment.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerYes, but you would have to pay for labor time and cost. If tou have the total tech, then you would get a 20% discount on services fees but have to pay full price for any parts yoy may need to get the job done.
A:AnswerThey cover almost all physical damage to it and if purchased within 1 year you can call samsung and depending on the damage they can cover it. You pay for shipping and after 1 year and if you combine the total tech i would recommend always back up your info just in case the they need to do a restore to manufacture settings. But i am very happy with the membership it has saved me money not only money on 1 but on several devices. To connect devices to wifi i would use YouTube tutorials that would be much easier and faster.
A:AnswerGood luck! They were not able to help me with this for the domain and email acct I purchased from NameCheap.com. I specifically asked if this membership would cover this service when I bought my laptop, and was told it would. In reality, no one knew how in-store or over the phone.
A:AnswerHi,
According to the Best Buy website, TotalTech does not include installation of smoke alarms. However, TotalTech members do receive a 20% discount on the installation of smoke alarms by Best Buy Geek Squad agents.
I hope this helps!
A:AnswerIf the appliances are in the membership then yes its the 60 days if not then it will be 15 days that will be the first question they will ask if its in the membership.
