Free installation under Totaltech is only for purchases made at Best Buy during your membership. If you buy something elsewhere, you may be able to schedule installation with Geek Squad at a discount for Totaltech members, depending on whether the specific type of security system you are purchasing can be installed by Geek Squad agents in your area. I would urge you to see if the system you are considering purchasing on Amazon is also available at Best Buy, and if so, you would be eligible for free installation by purchasing the system from Best Buy. And remember, Best Buy price matches items sold by / shipped by Amazon, so there is really no reason to buy it from them if we also offer it. Lastly, I would recommend that you go into a Best Buy store and speak with an associate in the Smart Home department about our security systems. Some of those installations are considered "complex" and are only eligible for discounted installs, not free.
