Bluebirds were climbing in our the day after I put it up. I've seen pics from a few people with chickadees in it. It's mainly for bluebirds as far as I know. The only modification I made was taking out the metal grate because the birds hated it. Every day they would jump in, peck at the grate, and leave. I took the grate out and they soon built a nest.
