Not at all. It’s a good little hand vacuum for about any job.

It's good for quick clean-ups around th house and in the car it has attachments to get into the seats. I like to use this to get in the corners and cracks where the big vacuum cannot get We use it daily around th house during th week for quick clean-ups, it holds the charge pretty well when we keep it plugged in and ready for use. The suction is pretty good
