Does it have an agitator? null

Does not have an agitator like conventional washers. Does have aproximately one inch ridged bottom that does churn the clothes and water moves in and out of corrigations in the tub.

It has an impeller, not a full-size agitator, which I find to still be very effective so long as you select the right water level and don't overfill so the clothes have enough room swish around. I find that water level L2 fills the machine a little more than halfway and L3 fills it most the way full in which you don't want to fill the drum more than 3/4 full with dry clothes.
