• yes i did that. be aware that for the new cameras you will need to buy a subscription plan to have motion or video recordings. the xt2 models prior to april 2020 came with a free cloud plan but after that requires a plan to be purchased, about $100 a year for up to 5 cameras last i checked.

• You are able to purchase and use just the cameras from a kit/system purchase and add them to an existing Blink System, this would just give you an additional sync module.
