“I want to use these on my boat for backing up and engine room monitoring. I have an onboard computer and want to be able to see the camera images on the computer screens. I am hoping I can connect them, the cameras to the computer by wifi? Thanks”

There's no reason you can't . . . if you can get wifi signal to your phone or laptop and if you can keep the control unit within about 75 feet more or less of each camera. They indeed are water-proof as to rain. . . not so sure about inundation, though. Happy sailing! PS: It might be slick way to keep folks back home posted on your whereabouts in case you get lost.
