I was not able to even locate the camera 20 feet from the wifi router and sync unit. I could not have a camera in both my front and back yard. I had to place the one outdoor camera right outside the window nearest the room with the wifi router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming a fairly standard home (single building, no unusually dense construction materials), the Sync Module should be able to communicate with Blink camera units up to 100ft away in any direction. As far as how far away the system can be from the wireless router that would depend on the strength of your internet/WIFI, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength for optimal performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the eero wifi extender and it worked wonders vs the stock router that Spectrum gave me. Not sure if a stock router would work for you but a single wifi extender could if placed near a window in the direction of the shed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera system is dependent on both the wifi signal that you provide separately and the signal from the module. We added a google wireless product to increase our range substantially. It does appear the placement and orientation of the module helps with range. We moved one module forty feet further away and the signal increased to a camera farther away (go figure). We used a second module to pick up other cameras where the signal was not usable. We'd suggest purchasing extra camera/module to make a stretched system usable. Very nice INITIAL product for the money, but after 30 days your functions become limited, but still usable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Internet would not accommodate the cameras, The service that claims to work where I live is too expensive. Let the GEEK Squad know what type of service you have before purchasing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on your router as to the reach. If you can have the camera line of sight with a window and router it does help. I think they make a booster for routers but i have not looked.
