Is there a monthly fee? null

There is a monthly service fee of $10 to use the cloud and record live viewing. Otherwise you dont need to pay. My cameras still work and let me know when there is motion and it saves my videos to a USB drive. I just can't record live videos but that doesn't matter to me.

You have an option to get the cloud plan, but you can also opt to use local storage only, so you won’t have to pay fees. For that, you need to connect storage to the sync module via usb, either a hard drive, thumb drive or SSD.
