A:AnswerYes all Blink cameras will work with your current system, I did the same with my parent's camera system they got the 5 camera pack but only needed 4 so I used the other one for my Apartment and had no problems adding the camera to my system. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerI moved so had problems reinstalling. I sent an email to customer support. They said to use 2.4 instead of 5g. Just change your smart phone (or whatever device you're using to set up the system) to use 2.4 Ghz. After set up, you can switch your phone back to use 5Ghz. The kind folk's ad Blink customer support include a phone number in their response should you still have problems.
A:AnswerThe Blink Systems (including the Blink Mini) currently require a 2.4ghz wifi-based Internet connection to operate. Blink is not compatible with wifi networks broadcasting a 5ghz signal.
A:AnswerYes, you can. And you can relocate them at will . . . if you can simply unscrew two wood screws and re-screw them. Or, they can transmit image even when sitting on a shelf witout screws. NO kidding.
A:AnswerThe handy-dandy BestBuy guy did it all, 5 cameras in less than 15 minutes. But, you can do it yourself within a few minutes if you can figger how to operate a power screw driver.
A:AnswerAssuming a fairly standard home (single building, no unusually dense construction materials), the Sync Module should be able to communicate with Blink camera units up to 100ft away in any direction. As far as how far away the system can be from the wireless router that would depend on the strength of your internet/WIFI, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength for optimal performance.
