“Does the camera only work if I pay for the subscription”

• I believe It doesn’t record unless you have the subscription. But you do receive motion alerts and can view live… personally I think their pointless without the subscription…

• Hi there, The Blink system does not require a subscription. Without storage for your clips, the cameras will be able to detect motion, notify you of motion, and live view. There are two storage options you can use, one being subscription and the other being local storage.
