A:AnswerNo DVR is needed to set this up. All that’s needed is the app downloaded onto your phone. As long as you have the same brand Blink camera with Amazon all are able to be viewed simultaneously with through sync module.
A:AnswerThe sync module is needed. It’s where all the videos would be stored all you need is a flash drive if you would like to store more videos needed for the future. One module will work with how many cameras you would like. It depends on you.
A:AnswerThe kit I purchased has 2 outdoor cameras and the sync module. The outdoor camera works indoors. I purchased the doorbell cam separately later.
A:AnswerYou get a month free trial period. Then you have to subscribe via Amazon. There are several different levels to meet all your needs. I think I pay $10 a month to be able to save, store and share the videos.
A:AnswerYou have to have the sync module. You can have up to 10 cameras per module I believe. The camera comes with a mount and is battery operated so u can hang it just about anywhere.
A:AnswerThe distance would depend on how many walls are obstructing the signal from the hub to the cameras. Such as if you place the hub next to the modem and the modem is in the living room and there is only one wall ( exterior house wall) in between the hub and the cameras then the range would be about 80 feet. The more direct the signal is from the hub to the camera the more range and reliability you will get. Another tip, the more elevated the hub is the better signal from the hub to the cameras. Hope this helps
