The subscription from blink is not $30 a month, it's $156 a year. Just plug in a usb flash drive in to the sync module and everything can be stored on it....

There is a subscription for our cloud storage, but customers are not required to use it. Another storage option is local storage, activated by plugging a USB flash drive into a Sync Module 2. Local storage has no recurring fee to use the feature. Either of these storage options will let you view clips remotely from your phone.

Watch for an Amazon Prime day deal. I got a year subscription and a wired Blink Camera/ floodlight for $100 as combo recently. But the synch module does nicely by itself. This 2 pack doesn't include one of those it looks. Quite important to have.
