I just need to see what’s going on out front. No recording, or continuous picture. Blink sound okay to use but see a 6’ power cord. Will no be able to plug into an electrical outlet. Work on batteries?? null

Hello Cognac,
I would recommend the Blink Outdoor 4 for your use. It's a battery powered camera that comes with mounting hardware. It runs on 2 AA batteries which are also included in the box. The batteries it comes with are not rechargeable but can be easily replaced. I think that this would be a better option than the Mini 2. Battery life may vary depending on the settings on your camera as well as the climate you have the unit mounted in.

The Blink Mini and Blink Mini 2 cameras are hardwired to power. They do not contain anywhere to insert batteries as they must be hardwired.
