I have cameras pointing at each other and I have no problem. Ans set up is easy. And nothing is is required

The Blink Mini is designed to operate on its own (no sync module required) as long as you have wifi and a compatible mobile device, set-up is fairly easy, download the Blink Home Monitor APP on your compatible mobile device, plug in the Blink Mini and connect to your wifi!
